While I have a playful and experimental approach, daily plant collections and observation of the nature in the forest have a grounding rhythm. My work is where these two worlds merge. I incorporate mixed media, leaves, bark and found objects in textured pieces.
Following my intuition, I alternate quickly between building up layers, destroying part of the work before starting to repair it. As a result, the work goes through a metamorphosis in form and medium.
The process, movements and the experimentation are as important as the final result and will leave some traces in the marks.
